About this campaign

The skin is the largest organ in the body and the part of us that is regularly exposed to the elements.

Small amounts of sunlight will increase vitamin D levels and keep your bones healthy, but spending too much time in the sun exposes the skin to ultraviolet (UV) radiation which may cause skin damage.

A growing problem

Sun damage to skin is a growing problem. Every year there are more new cases of skin cancer in the UK than breast and lung cancers combined.
